At Briar Hill Rustic Furniture, we use Minwax Stain exclusively on our Interior Northern White Cedar Log Furniture. Our Application Process: We apply one coat of Minwax Stain (base coat) and apply two coats of Catalyzed Lacquer (top coat ~ satin or gloss finish). For a more natural look, we apply only two coats of Catalyzed Lacquer directly to our log furniture (satin or gloss finish).

Minwax Wood Finish: A rich, penetrating, oil-based stain can be used to enhance any bare or stripped wood surface.
Catalyzed Lacquer: Fast drying – excellent resistance to household chemicals and solvents. Ideal for kitchen cabinets, vanities, chairs, office furniture, household furniture, and a wide range of interior wood products.
